This French country kitchen interior design project reimagined a traditional Cape Cod-style home into a bright, functional space that accommodates a growing family.

Client Goals
Our clients had recently purchased a charming, historic Cape Cod-style home but found the kitchen outdated and disconnected from the family room. With two young children and a busy lifestyle, they sought a space that not only flowed into the family room but also offered ample storage and functionality. Their goal was to maintain the kitchen's classic charm while incorporating modern design elements for a cozy, family-friendly environment.

Design Process & Solution
We opened up the kitchen to the family room, creating a light, airy, open-concept space that feels expansive and seamlessly connected. The layout was reimagined to include a walk-in pantry, a designated space for the fridge, and a peninsula with seating for family gatherings. French country kitchen design elements such as gold hardware, intricate French tiling for the backsplash, and deep-textured accents like a contrasting rug were added, while the light white palette enhanced the existing charm of the home.

A striking black range became the room's focal point, contrasting beautifully with the natural light and warm white walls that bring warmth and an inviting atmosphere. The deeper rug adds a layer of warmth and depth, grounding the space with a modern yet cozy touch. Throughout the process, we oversaw the entire renovation, offering our white-glove service to ensure every detail was executed to perfection.
