Velène Design House reimagined a California ranch kitchen, choosing an intimate layout and anchoring it with Taj Mahal quartzite, white oak cabinetry, and bespoke details to create a kitchen tailored to the family’s lifestyle.

Client Goals
Our clients wanted a kitchen that felt fresh and welcoming without sacrificing storage or flow. They needed a design that served their family, so they opted for a defined, enclosed space rather than joining the kitchen to the living areas. Every element had to support daily life, modern yet personal, functional yet beautiful.

Design Process & Solution
After presenting several layouts, we landed on an enclosed design to increase storage and improve circulation. We combined aged brass and oil-rubbed bronze hardware with warm wood cabinetry to create depth and warmth. Taj Mahal quartzite countertops and backsplash bring refined elegance, while handcrafted ceramic tiles and curved side splashes add bespoke texture. Integrated appliances and custom organization ensure the kitchen feels both streamlined and welcoming.
