At Velène Design House, we reimagined the layout to maximize light and flow, while blending darker wood tones with creamy greige cabinetry and polished brass details. A checkered floor adds classic charm and durability, and the curved bay window becomes a focal point, bringing in natural light and framing views of the garden.

A previously cramped and uninspired kitchen now breathes with light, balance, and purpose, crafted to feel both practical and beautifully lived-in.

Client Goals
Our clients wanted a kitchen that would serve their growing family and seamlessly integrate with the rest of their home. They were looking for more storage, better organization, and a layout that allowed family and friends to gather comfortably without feeling crowded.

Design Process & Solution
Working closely with our contractors and craftsmen, we opened up the walls and introduced a spacious island for prep, storage, and seating. We chose a palette of greige and warm wood, accented by unlacquered brass hardware and polished nickel fixtures. The checkered porcelain flooring grounds the space with character and resilience.

A tongue‑and‑groove island detail and panel‑ready appliances contribute to the refined feel, while the custom curved bay window area bathes the kitchen in natural light. Every corner was thoughtfully utilized to provide ample storage solutions, ensuring the kitchen not only looks beautiful, but remains efficient.
